I have been to several vets throughout the area and have found the staff here to be the BEST! They don't treat you or your pets like just another number coming through the door but instead like family that matters. I appreciate the vets honesty and thorough explanations.
I've taken all 3 of my pets to Dr Stacy Rourke, first at Milliron Clinic and now at Athens Vet Clinic (as of Jan 2017). Dr is gentle and thorough in her exams. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I appreciate that they call a couple of days later to get a progress report when I've taken my pet in for an illness or had a procedure done.
Athens Veterinary Clinic just re-opened, and we had a really excellent experience there last week. The staff were friendly and professional and pleasant to chat with. We got an appointment unexpectedly quickly. Dr Rourke made the diagnoses quickly and accurately, and both animals are all better. Price to see our livestock guardian dog and ewe quite reasonable. Would recommend the newly re-opened office to anyone.

Dr. Rourke and her staff are excellent. Great care of our lab puppy and 3 adult cats. Dr. Rourke helped us through an emergency with one of our cats with excellent care. Highly recommend.
