The entire process took around 4 hours, but what else would you expect from an emergency room?? The ER is not a place to go if you are in a time crunch. Overall, I feel very safe knowing this is my local emergency room.
I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience at O'Bleness. I woke up to excruciating pain in my hip after having surgery a few weeks ago. My partner and I walked through the door and were immediately led into a room to begin vitals. We were never left in the room for more than five minutes without being checked on by registration, blood work, and most importantly the doctor. My doctor was very competent and ordered an ultrasound and x-ray, both of which took less than 30 minutes for him to assess. I mentioned feeling dizzy and they brought me a full tray of food. I felt well taken care of and was always greeted with a smiling face.
I had three doctors saying different things.. One said miscarriage, one said PID... The other said Pms... So unprofessional about the wjole thing
This place is a joke. I spent 4 or more hours there with my partner who has been vomiting for over a week. She can't eat or drink anything without throwing it up a couple minutes later and the only thing they did was give her medicine to help with nausea, acid reflux, and gave her a glass of water. She was and still is serverly dehydrated, which we made sure to make them aware, and they did absolutely nothing about it. We asked if she could have some IV fluids and that's when they came back with a cup of water and said no they wouldn't be doing that. Most of the people we talked too were either rude or had no idea what they were doing or talking about. It's sad that the majority of the people working there are only there for their checks and don't care about their patients. For the few that do, thank you. I sure wish you were there tonight to help. Don't waste your time and energy going there. This is the worst experience I've ever had. They need to get someone in there to supervise the place like it should be because whoever it doing it now should be fired. If I could give no stars I would.
There are more compotent doctors in primitive tribes in the jungle.. I had a miscarriage and they almost killed me with morphine (Which I'm allergic to)
Came in at 1:30 am. They stuck my sister twice because they screwed up taking blood and got it on the floor and on her. They did unnecessary x-ray she had no complaint of chest pain, breathing normally, and no cough. Her heart monitor was going off and nurses left the alarm beeping for a good 20 minutes before checking on her. It has been 4 hrs and we still haven't even heard what's wrong or seen discharge papers. If you can make it to another hospital do it.
My daughter who is a Ohio University pre-med student was sent to the E.R. by a physician at campus care with a diagnosis of allergic reaction to a medication. We sat in the waiting area for 30 minutes before even being triaged. After that another hour before I had to find out how much longer and who should I make a complaint to. After talking with a VERY rude nursing supervisor Matt riffle we were taken back to a bed. So if you want faster service go somewhere else or call a
E.M.S. since the only way to get HIS staff moving is if it arrives by squad!
