Big pool. Cheap entrance. Clean water. What's not to love?
Take our 2 year old to swim class here and it's been great! Highly recommend.
Excellent swimming pool and shower facilities. Easy parking, too. Locker rental for a year is a bit expensive but the facilities are usually clean and the lifeguards are always paying attention. Sometimes members of the swim team like to hangout and selfishly tie up some lanes while socializing, but so do the foreign students. If you go first thing or towards the end of the allotted times, though, you can usually have you own lane. Honestly, 97% of the time you get your own lane.
Overall a very nice aquatic center. Restrooms could be cleaner. Sundeck needs maintenance. I'm sure OU has money for maintenance.
The hours are a bit restrictive. There was also many students when I visited at 7am. The lifeguards were very attentive though. The could tell from my splashing that I am a new swimmer and moved to sit right above my lane to make sure I didn't drown. I felt very safe...
