Pros include the multiple little league ("Sandlot") baseball fields, a park shelter you can reserve (has electricity), and the nearby playground and adult fitness training course. There is pull-out access for kayakers, too, from the nearby Hocking River (just before the White's Mill rapids/falls). Cons are that it is somewhat inconvenient to get to, especially if in season when hundreds of cars and kids block the roadway. Getting an ambulance in and out would be interesting to see at that time. There are toilettes and running water, and access to the bikepath with parking for that, too. A large fenced dog park is also located here, free to use without license or fees. This is the sort of park you go to for a specific reason, IMHO, and not just to hang out and certainly not to walk around--it's all short grass and lawns, no paths.
Its at a dead end so its safe for kids to play with little to no worry about traffic.
